No priest could lay Martez "El Hueso" Xalvador to rest, his conquering too marred by blood and dark magic. When the Church delivered him to the now-abandoned Hell's Wake Isle, they thought his interment there might give him rest. 

They were wrong.

El Hueso's still-bloody bones rose again, marching to a mountain temple that he'd once viciously massacred. With so much evil in one place, Hell opened, and the River Styx swamped the captain of slaughter in the blood of those he'd killed. 

Now the island crawls with the dead disgorged from the Styx, whose trails of destruction conjure a vile prize: clouds of Hell-wrought ASH.

As the powers that be swarm the isle to claim their fortune, Hell's Boatman comes to collect.
