A carnage-filled 0-level gauntlet for Shadowdark!

On a hot and cloudless morning, lightning strikes the ensorcelled pillars atop Broken Crown Bastion. The manticore bandit lord will soon return, but not before his captives—gearless, 0-level bastards—face an even greater evil . . .

Will they escape in time?

This easy-to-run one-page dungeon challenges player characters to escape a bandit tower overrun by a death cult. To succeed, they will have to avoid innumerable causes of death:

• Manticore spines
  
• Soul drain
• Zombie claws
• Snake bite (now with free venom!)
• Good ol' stabby stab
• Electrocution
• Impalement by a thousand bones
• Wizard smoke
• Wasp sting (also with free venom!)
  
• Turning down disembodied voices
• Smashed by a one-ton battering ram

Enjoy all these deaths and more in radiant Technicolor.
